Soccer is one of the many extra curricular sporting activities that students love in St. Nessan’s C.C . Each year, the students compete in all age groups from the FAI Schools First Year Cup right through to the John Murphy Cup & the u19's North Munster Cup.

Over the years, Nessan's have competed succesfully at various levels. In 2007 the U14′s won the North Munster Cup after defeating the Crescent Comprehensive 4 – 1 in the final. The u19's reached the final of the u19's North Munster in 2011.
